Stuck in the Mud!!!

This week we went for one of our annual log cutting trips, up to Green Mountain, and as is our luck we got a little stuck. We didn't realize the amount of rain that had taken place up there the day before, and of course it was in an area with NO cell service.

Sydney and Kaden came to the conclusion that we would be living up there and that we would have to survive on Mud. Why Mud, I don't know.

It took a lot of rocks logs and digging, but 3 hours later we finally got ourselves out.

Busy Week

This week we have worked in the yard, we finished the north side fence and dog run, moved lots of rocks and our grass in finally starting to fill in.

We also went camping up to Green Mountain, we were able to get in a couple of four wheeler rides, we had a great camp fire were Kaden burned everything he could get his hands on, and had smores with dinner and breakfast.

Saturday Sydney decided that she wanted to participate in the Hershey state Track meet which was held in Lander this year. She ran the 100 and 200, and did great.

Hershey Track Meet

This weekend Sydney and Kaden participated in the Hershey Track Meet. Sydney did the 100 and 200 meter events and Kaden was able to participate in the 8 and under, 50 and 100 meters. They were both a little apprehensive and were not sure what they were to expect, but they both did awesome and it was fun to watch them do their best.

Kaden took second in the 50 and first in the 100.

Sydney took third in the 100 and first in the 200.
