Happy 3rd Anniversary, Kim Taeyeon!
I believe that Social Media like Instagram or Twitter is a platform for people to advertise their events publicly in order for others to be well aware of such amazing event may take place. For instance, I have been following Taeyeon Union MY on Twitter for years now and they have organized various fund rising events appreciating the popular solo artist, Kim Taeyeon from South Korea.
A little background information about the idol, she is well known as the leader of Nation’s Girl Group, Girls’ Generation. Her famous nicknames are Kid Leader, Taengoo and Paper Human. Anyway, I noticed that TUMY will organize a cup sleeve event at Greyhound Cafe, Bukit Bintang on the 5th, 6th & 7th of October 2018. This is the details:

Based on the tweets, it was cleared that in order to obtain the cup sleeve, we need to buy either Ice Lemon Tea or Mixed Fruit Juice and request the cup sleeve from the staff. In addition, TUMY is also giving away freebies such as photocards and a photostrip.
I started my day eagerly brushing up my teeth, took a shower and getting all doll-up for the event. I was from Shah Alam so in order for me to go there, I had to take quite a long journey using Malaysia’s efficient public transportation from Subang Alam LRT station to Bukit Bintang. I will briefly explain my journey;
As you can see from the two images I have attached, from LRT Subang Alam I had to transit at Pasar Seni to change from LRT to MRT so I can get off at MRT Bukit Bintang as planned. Therefore, from Subang Alam to Pasar Seni, it took me roughly about 45 minutes but luckily from MRT Pasar Seni to Bukit Bintang was just about 10 minutes journey.
As I reached there, I had to take the ‘Pintu D’ which was the nearest exit to the event location. TUMY had mentioned that once you see ZARA infront of the exit, turn left and you will see Taeyeon’s banners. Indeed, they were right! I walked only a few steps and from far away I can spot TUMY’s beautiful banners.

As my feet lead my way to the cafe, my eyes linger around searching for other SONE but when I realized it was still early, I just went inside and asked one of the staff that had greeted me if I could purchase the cup sleeve. Luckily I can. However, TUMY freebies were not available yet so after finishing my Mixed Fruit Juice every last drop, I bought myself Caramel Frappe at Starbucks (it was right in front of Greyhound Cafe) and read the newspaper about the tragic incident of 6 heroic firemen drowned during a Search & Rescue mission. It was a devastating news to all especially their family members. May Allah bless their souls. Amin.
Later at exactly 12.01PM, I entered Greyhound Cafe lurking around searching for TUMY and Taeyeon’s Mini Exihibition. As soon as I spotted Taeyeon’s pictures, my feet just automatically has their mind of their own. Here are some pictures I took during the event.
I have to be honest, the whole event was spectacular. Probably because it was my first time going to such event so it was very exciting. I love it! I could see pictures of Tae posted all over the exhibition, all of Tae’s albums were neatly organized on the table and there’s this beautiful drawing of Tae (can see from one of the photos attached). Also, there was this thick photo album where they had collected all of Tae’s photocards from every albums. So beautiful that I practically smiled at every page/photo. Everything was mesmerizing. It was like I was taken to a my happy cafe. Lastly, before I ended this blog, let’s appreciate all the freebies that I got during the event.
