Overview

Understanding the world in 4D — 3D over time — is fundamental to autonomous robotics, immersive virtual worlds, and scientific discovery. Building on rapid advances in 3D vision, 4D computer vision (Dynamic 3D) is emerging as a vibrant research frontier.

This second edition of the workshop brings researchers together to accelerate progress on topics including but not limited to:

  • 4D scene modeling, reconstruction, and generation
  • Category-specific 4D models — humans, objects, animals
  • Physically plausible world models, simulation, and robotics
  • Applications in biology, manufacturing, astrophysics, and beyond
  • And more — we welcome all work advancing 4D understanding

Call for Papers

We invite short papers (~4 pages) and full-length papers (up to 8 pages excl. references) on dynamic 3D (4D) modeling and applications. Submissions follow the CVPR 2026 format (double-blind). Supplementary material is allowed.

Non-archival: Accepted papers will not be published in proceedings. Previously published work is welcome. Authors may resubmit to future venues after acceptance.
