Agents Assemble: The Healthcare AI Endgame Challenge

Build Interoperable Healthcare Agents at the Intersection of MCP, A2A, and FHIR.

We have all watched the AI in healthcare trailers - the hype, the theories, and the cool demos. But now, we have entered the Endgame. At Prompt Opinion, we define this phase as "The Last Mile" - the critical gap where raw intelligence must be converted into actionable deliverables. To conquer this mile, we cannot work alone. We are proud to launch Agents Assemble, a builder’s competition designed to prove that the power of AI lies in collaboration.

Our platform provides the headquarters for this mission, giving you native access to the industry's best tools to build in two distinct ways: you can forge a Superpower (building the MCP tools that fuel the ecosystem), or you can rise up to build a Full Agent (equipping those superpowers to tackle a specific healthcare challenge).

Your Challenge

The goal is to develop a healthcare AI solution and demonstrate its successful integration into the Prompt Opinion platform. You may choose one of two technical paths for your submission:

Option 1: Build a Superpower (Powered by MCP)

Build the hammer. Create an MCP server that exposes a specific set of tools, some of which may or may not use patient data. By building an MCP, you forge a capability that any agent can pick up and use.

Option 2: Build an Agent (Powered by A2A) 

Build a superhero. Configure an intelligent Agent to handle complex healthcare workflows. Using Conversational Interoperability (COIN) and A2A standards, your agent can help other agents solve real problems.

  • Note on A2A: You don’t need to be a developer in A2A protocols. Prompt Opinion supports developing agents within the platform without any code. Our platform handles complex communication natively. You focus on the use case, and our system ensures your agent can talk, listen, and collaborate from day one.

 

How it Will Work

For this challenge, you must utilize the Prompt Opinion platform.

  1. Register: Sign up on the Hackathon Website and create a free account at Prompt Opinion.
  2. Build: Develop your MCP server or A2A agent using your own infrastructure and the reference implementations provided. You can also configure an A2A agent directly on the platform. Check out the overview video
  3. Integrate: Ensure your solution uses the SHARP Extension Specs to handle healthcare context like patient IDs and FHIR tokens. While not required, it is highly recommended that you use data from a FHIR server in your solution.
  4. Publish: Configure and publish your project to the Prompt Opinion Marketplace so it can be discovered and invoked within the platform.
  5. Submit: Provide a demonstration video (under 3 minutes) showing your project functioning within the Prompt Opinion platform.

Judging Criteria

  • The AI Factor
    Does the solution leverage Generative AI to address a challenge that traditional rule-based software cannot?
  • Potential Impact
    Does this address a significant pain point? Is there a clear hypothesis for how this improves outcomes, reduces costs, or saves time?
  • Feasibility
    Could this exist in a real healthcare system today? Does architecture respect data privacy, safety standards, and regulatory constraints?
