I need to get an eye exam and get some new glasses before too long. I keep putting it off, partially because I know it will end up costing me quite a bit. I need those extra thin lenses that they always charge extra for, unless you're under 14 or so. Looking at the zennioptical.com website, I see that all their lenses are premium-quality high-index Polycarbonate composite polymer high-impact resistant lenses with full UV protection and a special strong anti-scratch coating. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for a pair of glasses, I can get a complete pair for $8 - or more depending on the style, but still way less than I could get if I walked into an eyeglass store.

Zenni Optical has a huge selection of lenses at great prices because they ship directly to the customer and avoid the middleman. I think my best bet is to get my eyes checked and get my new prescription, try on glasses in the store to decide what shape, size and color looks best, and then order them from Zenni Optical. At these prices I could have two or three pairs, and they'll add sunglass tinting to a pair for $4.95. Shipping and handling is only $4.95, no matter how many pairs you order.
