Jeffrey had one more vacation day this year, so he decided to take it today.  No special plans.  He's just home - and the kid's aren't!

Anyway, since he's here, I needed to make a full pot of coffee instead of the partial pot I usually make just for me.  I measured the coffee in and made the coffee.  Then, when I gave Jeffrey his, he said it tasted funny.  Bitter was his word for it.  I said I didn't know what the difference was.  I made it like usual. 

It wasn't until I went to pour my second cup that I figured it out.  Yes, I made it like usual - even though I measured in enough coffee for a full pot, I only put enough water in for a partial pot - like usual.  That was some strong coffee.

I like it strong, though maybe not quite that strong.
