Disney Buys Lucasfilm – Episode 7 In The Works
I expect a lot of Wookies, Ewoks and Binks in Episode 7. What a nightmare…

Disney also gets Lucasfilm Ltd., LucasArts, Industrial Light + Magic, and Skywalker Sound.

Why not?
Kostas Vaxevanis Trial Delayed A Few Days
Greek journalist on trial for outing Politicians and corporate pales, with Swiss bank accounts. Instead of hearalding him as a hero for exposing the tax evasion the Greek Politicians enjoy, they try to send him to jail;
http://www.athensnews.gr/portal/1/58711
They might need a revolution in Greece, which is a shining beacon of how power corrupts. The biggest problem in Greece is, the elite and the poor pay no taxes. Oh wait, we have that problem in the US too… And I don’t propose taxing anyone below the poverty level, plus 50%.
The Swiss press takes an unusally neutral stance; http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/news/international/Greek_editor_stands_trial_over_Swiss_accounts_list.html?cid=33834842
US Senate Races
There are some toss-ups, but the following (I say) are locked in:
Indiana – Murdock loses, toast.
Wisconsin – Thompson loses (thank the stars)
Ohio – Mandel loses, punk.
Mississippi – Akin loses. (atheists actually pray for this)
Connecticut – McMahon loses. (how much more money will she waste on gaining office?)
Virginia – Allen loses. (I am not a big fan of Kaine, but OK.)
Montana – Rehberg loses. (happy dance.)
Massachusettes: Brown loses. (won’t debate Warren again http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/election-2012/wp/2012/10/29/scott-brown-pulls-out-of-final-debate-with-elizabeth-warren/?tid=pm_politics_pop) Um, the storm is not your concern Scott, leave that to the Governor.
That leaves a 54 to 46 Democratic majority. And please consider the average age of GOP members of the Senate. Lots of vacancies coming next time around…If the economy continues to improve, the GOP will be decimated by 2018.

Raw Video, Dragon Spashdown Today
First “official” commercial visit to ISS, with a safe return. It’s really the second trip.
Sony Music Entertainment
A graphic art timeline.
Great video, but considering the company didn’t exist until 1991, what you are really looking at, is a purchased catalog of other labels Artists. Or as I like to call it, artistic cannibalism. Seen Disney lately?

They are also celebrating the Holiday Eids Mubarak (and probably glad they are not being shelled).
Why I Use BING
Google paid just 2.4% tax outside the US in 2009: http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/ireland-business-blog-with-lisa-ocarroll/2011/mar/24/google-ireland-tax-reasons-bermuda
If you have to jump through all these hoops to pay lower taxes, at some point the effort costs more than the baseline return. The problem is, it gets so blurry internationally, that you can’t even really tell if it’s worth it.
Bottom line, Google is a tax dodger.
