Caifeng Shan is currently a full professor with Nanjing University, China. He was previously a Senior Scientist and Project Leader with Philips Research, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He was also a part-time researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology. He received the B.Eng. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China, the M.Eng degree from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the PhD degree from Queen Mary, University of London. His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, medical image analysis, and related applications. He has authored more than 200 scientific papers and 100 patents. He was the recipient of the Invention Award of Royal Philips. He has served as Associate Editor for journals including Pattern Recognition, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, and IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology.

单彩峰，二级教授、博士生导师，国家海外高层次人才，“长江学者”讲席教授。现任南京大学智能科学与技术学院副院长、南京大学-中国移动联合研究院副院长、南京大学-西门子人工智能联合研究中心主任。先后获得中国科学技术大学学士、中国科学院自动化研究所硕士、英国伦敦大学玛丽女王学院博士。之后在荷兰飞利浦研究院工作十余年，担任资深科学家和团队负责人，并兼任荷兰埃因霍温理工大学研究员。主要从事计算机视觉、模式识别、医学人工智能等方面的研究，先后承担多个欧盟和荷兰的研究项目、新一代人工智能国家科技重大专项、教育部学科突破先导项目、国家自然科学基金原创探索项目、中国移动校企合作重点项目等。发表论文200余篇、授权各国专利100余项（其中美国欧洲日本专利60多项）。荣获飞利浦公司发明奖，入选飞利浦公司“High Potential”人才等，任中国图象图形学学会常务理事。先后担任10余个国际期刊的编委或客座编委。
