It has been almost two weeks since Valentines Day and let me just say that even though I wasn’t sure what to get for a baby that was little more than 4 weeks months old at the time, I hit the jackpot.
While Amy got roses and an iPod (one of those little shuffles in green), I spent a whopping $2.50 on a mylar balloon for Kate. It has turned out to be one of her favorite things to play with. Under parental supervision (I am not that reckless) we let her play with the string and constantly bop the balloon for what seems like hours. Amy tells me she has to carry it with her all around the house during the day. It has become her new best friend.
I got some video (watch it here) earlier today on my cell phone of her getting especially excited about her balloon. It is pretty funny. I think I have the next several holidays for her figured out. If only Amy was so easy. . .
