Ah, it sure has been nice during the past week, not only was Miku’s birthday on Aug 31st celebrated in fashion in Japan with a festival being held in her name but also, the much awaited Vocaloid Nendoroid Puchi set was up for pre-order on the same day as well. And the set proved to be so popular that the online reservations on Hobby Search were already closed shortly after the pre-order was out initially. I had a bit of trouble pre-ordering it but eventually I have decided to pre-order with one of the local figures shop here as it’s much cheaper than pre-ordering online. ^ ^
And anyway I have noticed by now that some of the YouTube videos which I mentioned in the previous Weekly Vocaloid Music posts aren’t working, and that’s because the uploader got his account suspended while trying to upload the performances from MikuFes 09 (that’s the festival celebrating Miku’s birthday, if you are not aware). But I will get around to replacing the videos mentioned in the posts very soon so that you can get to enjoy the videos and the music as well.

Yeah, it’s time for another week of Vocaloid videos and music, and your host is DT here as always.
This week we have news from Mikatan that the Vocaloid Nendoroid Puchi 01 series, which has been announced during the Tokyo Anime Fair earlier this year, will finally be up for reservations in Japan in the next few days. So hopefully this would mean that online sites (and local shops as well) may be taking pre-orders for the figures very soon, can’t wait to preorder mine and get them eventually. ^_^

Yeah, I apologize for my epic lateness in posting this. Basically I have been away for the past couple of days attending to personal stuff and hence I didn’t have time to access the internet. ^ ^;;
Anyway now that we know there will be an Black★Rock Shooter anime coming up in Spring 2010 what could possibly be better? Though it would be hard to imagine that initially an original artwork from huke chosen by songwriter ryo for a Vocaloid music video would gain such popularity from the general Vocaloid community that not only Good Smile Company decided to make two PVC figures of Black★Rock Shooter in which one of them will be released soon but also, the anime as I have mentioned above. ^ ^ Can’t wait to see the anime though, hope it will be good though. =D

Hatsune Miku Project DIVA & Accessory Pack
Yeah, this is an late entry which I should have posted last month, but didn’t really get around to it until now. xP Anyway this will be a consolidated post for all the Vocaloid stuff which I have managed to get last month and I sure am glad adding them to my collections, though I do have some regrets not being able to get the 1/8 Hatsune Miku CM Version PVC figure released exclusively during last month’s Wonder Festival 09. =< (Well it’s not that there’s no local shop bringing the figure in after the festival, but the price is simply…frustrating)
Anyway just continue reading to see more images of the new Vocaloid stuff in the collection and I will explain a bit more as to why I am giving up on getting the CM Version Miku figure despite it being made available here. (more…)

Ah, welcome to Week 20 of the Weekly Vocaloid music segment. This week we had news of the new English Vocaloid2 software Sonika released by Zero-G Limited and so far her voice seems promising for a English Vocaloid, though I do think she has a slight resemblance to Hatsune Miku in a sense. (Hopefully I am not the only one thinking about that though)
And in other news, my copy of the Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- together with the Nendoroid petit has finally arrived! =D Though it’s hardly fun when you have to wait for half a month after the game is released. xP But at least I can get to enjoy the game now and hopefully I can post some gameplay screenshots soon then.

Welcome to Week 18 of the Weekly Vocaloid Music segment, as usual I am your host DT. Last week we had news from Good Smile Company that they are going to release a 1/7 scale figure of Hatsune Miku and this time round, there’s a more solid feeling to our leek-loving virtual idol (more info on this figure very soon).
Also, something that I have been waiting for quite a few months has finally arrived here, and it’s none other than the 1/8 scale Kagamine Rin and Len PVC figure from GSC, I couldn’t be happier than to add them to my Vocaloid figures collection as a Kagamine fan. :)

Welcome to the Weekly Vocaloid Music segment as usual, this week has been a happening week as far as Vocaloid fans are concerned since we get to know of swimsuit costumes for our favorite Vocaloid characters in the PSP game Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- (foreseeing many more pre-orders because of that =p ) , new Miku figures to be made known during the Wonder Festival 2009 in summer and also, Megpoid (Gumi) has finally been released as of yesterday! Been listening to some of her songs since then. :D
Anyway I will be posting a bit more on Megpoid songs since she’s still new around here and some of her songs are as good as it is funny xD , just read on to find out more~ (more…)

Well, Sega sure has been regular with posting the updates for -Project DIVA- now that the game is set to be released in 10 days’ time. =P
Anyway, the -Project DIVA- website has just been updated with new costumes for all the Vocaloid characters under Crypton and this time round, our favorite Vocaloids are appearing in swimsuits instead. :D
Also, a new song by 畑亜貴 & 神前暁 has been made known which pretty much completes the song list for all the songs in -Project DIVA- (will be doing a summary post for all the updates later this week).
