A mighty and kind “Thank You” to everyone who tuned in to WBLK 93.7 on August 11. I had a ball entertaining you all from 7 – 9pm. I made some new fans, reconnected with old friends and had a very memorable evening in what was supposed to be a “live audition” for the Next Top Radio Personality, but the competition aspect really didn’t matter after the mic was on. I got really comfortable and just let it happen. So for everyone who is wondering what the outcome was or when it when be announced…I have NO CLUE. SOoooo…if you just happen to find out before I do…Holla!!!…LOL.
Had a great evening out at the Shea’s Buffalo Theater with my “Hot Date,” Super Woman Wife. The award for Best Solo Music Act of WNY is more Alexa’s award than it is mine. Thank you for your support honey!!!
THANK YOU to everyone who has come out to a show, sang a song, popped a cd in your car, bought merchandise, read the blog posts and highly recommended me to the greater public. Two of the Best Awards that Buffalo has to offer, in the same year. Thank you Buffalo Spree and Artvoice.
One of favorite movies of all time, House Party. However, I wish they had never considered trying to make it into a saga. It’s unbelievable how terrible the movies were that followed the original. I was inspired to make a full-length video for the OHNO song since the commercial for the GOOD EVENING BILLY Release Party was such a success. REAL videos for songs off of the album are currently in the works, but until they are complete, chew on this and enjoy the throwback.
In classic DVD movie menu style, I provided an alternative ending to the video as well.
The CD Release party at Second Cup on April 18 was a SMASH!! There was something extra special about the evening that no one can quite put there finger on, but it was surely enjoyed and celebrated to the fullest the entire evening. Many thanks and shouts to ALL that were present as well as those that were there in heart and spirit.
