Exact layout and colors with the minor variations of border, embellishment and small words. 

Bordered rhinestone version:

TECHNIQUES

stenciling / ink blending (background)

direct stamping / masking (flowers) *

die cutting (flower mask, Love word)

flat back gems / glitter glue

* the steps I took:

1. stamp flowers on white card stock

2. temporarily adhere flower die cut over stamped image

3. ink over stencil

4. remove stencil and apply same colors of ink over all

5. remove flowers mask and add embellishments

HOLOGRAPHIC SNOWFLAKES

Hello, and thank you for joining me for the last couple weeks of Winter-themed cards! 

Tomorrow I will be starting to post some like/love cards to get you inspired for the up and coming Valentine's Day!

Below is another completely different card I made using my oops from the card above - same holographic card stock that didn't cut all the way through  on the first pass, and then I couldn't get the pattern lined up enough to redo cleanly.  Trees are a QuicKutz Border die titled Trees, stamp is Hero Arts Snow and scallop punch is Stampin' Up!

FLOATING STRIPES

Hello!

I made another completely different card using this snowflake die’s remnants - you can access that card in my previous post. 

TECHNIQUES

floating stripes designer paper *

die cutting  (snowflake, circle)

heat embossing  (sentiment)

dry embossing  (background)

metal brad  (snowflake in center)

glitter card stock  (snowflake)

* to make the floating element simply glue strips of your paper onto acetate, leaving spaces, and die cut into whatever shape you like.  be sure to use foam tape to pop it up for best effect.
