Pendleton "Comes to Life"

My mom and her family grew up in Pendleton Oregon. We visit every year and enjoy Pendleton and its awesome attractions. Its known for the famous Pendleton Woolen Mills, the rodeo, and the underground tours. The underground tours take you through a city under the city that was built it the 1800s by the Chinese. Every year, once a year, in the underground tours, they put on a show called "Comes to Life". This is were they replace manikins for real people. So when the tours go through, the manikins come to life and as if it were that time period. Josh and I were able to go this year and play a part in the Shamrock Card Room, the saloon. Josh played the part of the bar tender and I was a cancan dancer. Josh had never been before so I was a little nervous of how he would react. I didn't know if he would be able to understand why I love Pendleton so much or even be able to understand my family... but he did good and he actually enjoyed himself quite a lot.

Back in Idaho

So we're back in Idaho. Believe it or not we really missed it. Our first day back Idaho greeted us with a beautiful snow storm and really cold winds. Gota love Idaho's weather. We live in my parents basement, free of charge, and enjoy home cooked meals my mom makes... We are hoping to be moving out sometime soon... Its been a good time hanging out with our families, although no one believes that Ive been in Hawaii for four months. They keep asking where my tan is... Anyway, I got a job at a spa and Josh is doing JB Windows (anyone need their windows cleaned?) and working at a bank on the side. Life has been good, we feel really blessed.

We woke up at 7am, we knew this day would come quickly. We went to Hukilau beach for that last time, Josh tried hard not to cry...

When we were all finished packing there was no where to sit or relax. Our suit cases took up the hole bed... So Josh found the only spot open against the hard sinderblock wall and a suit case with his feet proped up on the nightstand... He took a napImage
