Toe Lock

Whenever I do yoga, Lucy loves to copy me. I think she did the toe lock pretty well, she even knew to hold on to the couch to keep her balance.

Shelf Reliance Party

I love this freeze dried food! It is nutritious and delicious. This product is great for stocking up on your food storage and everyday use.

 

I am having a Shelf reliance party on Wednesday the 8th of December

It will be at my house from 5-6:30

Best Workout Routine

The Jillian Michaels DVD has 2 levels that are each 30 minutes long.

 I had to work up to it, but every other day I do both levels.

Some days, when I need to change things up, I do level one or two with Turbo Jam's 20 min. workout.

And sometimes when I really DO NOT feel like working out, I turn some music on and Lucy and I dance! I know that sounds weird, but it is much funner than running and Lucy loves it. Its great for her and all that energy she has, she seems to go down for naps much easier after as well.

I have also recently tried a Zumba class that I plan to add to my routine.

Working out can be fun I promise!

 

My $15 Table

I bought this table at a garage sale before I left to Dixie Collage

This is what it looked like for the first two years with me at school, well it looked better than this.

And I'm pretty sure it was used as a poker table in-between my moving around. Sorry I took it away from you Wayne...

 

Then when I got married I decided to change it to black



Then I decided I needed at change... So now it's yellow.
I love my $15 table. I can do whatever color I want and I wont feel bad. I dont know how many times Josh has asked me if we can just buy a new table, he must be crazy right:)

Nun Puffs

These are one of my favorite things to make for breakfast. They are a lot like German pancakes/puffed pancakes, but I think they are way better!

1/2 cup butter

1 cup milk

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

4 eggs

1 tablespoon white sugar 

pre- heat oven to 375

cook for 30 mins. (I made these with whole wheat flour, they are still really good just dont cook as long) 

 We eat them with jam and whipped cream. 

They are especially good with peach jam. Yum!

melt butter and add milk

add flour all at once

remove from heat, mix in eggs, one at a time

grease pan, place in cupcake or muffin pan

sprinkle sugar on top

We are going to...

Yes, it wasn't our first choice or even or second. But after much thought, prayer, and research, we decided Washington State in Spokane was the best choice. I am very excited and I think Josh is too, some days. He really wanted to go some place a little warmer.


I also have family there which is great! And it's not too far from home.


 I cant wait to go!

18 Months!

Lucy turned 18 months on the 8th.

And of course I've got to brag about her for a minute, it would be weird if I didn't.

Weighs around 17 1/2 lbs. 

Height 29 ins.

Her vocabulary is awesome! She is up to 100+ words (that she understands).

Although, her pronunciation needs work.

Simple sentences: 
"I want more", "I want drink", "I want milk",
"I want bight",
"I want..."
"Come on"
"No no kitty"
"you kidding me"
"here you go"

Some of her favorite things are:
books (she sleeps with one at night) 

outside

the alligator she pulls around

coloring

baby's
sippy cup (of course)
puppies and kitties

Praying
Out of the blue she will say "prayer" as she closes her eyes and folds her arms.
Sometimes she keeps her eyes closed though a whole prayer, usually a blessing on the food.


Potty Trained?
I say almost. She definitely still has accidents. Most of the time she's only in a diaper at night and when we leave her at a baby sitters. I usually have to tell her to go sit on the potty. But for the past little while she has been awesome about telling me when she has to go.

She has good and bad days.
