Winter downtime and a Question
Neighborhood Non-News
You know how new construction largely shuts down during the winter in cold climates. Guess that’s what happened to my neighborhood, because the builder seems to be taking an extended break . . .
Actually, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, the stitching time has been nonexistent. I’m holding out high hopes for more and regular stitching time in the new year, so don’t give up on me completely. My work demands have skyrocketed, so until they calm down, my stitching is kaput!
Commenting question re: Blogger.com
This is an appeal to those bloggers who have far more experience than I with both Blogger and Word Press. I initially set up a blog on Blogger.com but switched to WordPress.com in fairly short order. However, I left my Blogger site up with information redirecting readers to my active WordPress site.
When I comment on some blogs, I’m allowed to type in a Web site address, so I can refer to my “real” blog (a.k.a. WordPress). BUT some blogs will only allow me to comment using a Blogger.com address, which means that I’m forced to use my inactive Web site as my address.
Here, then, are my questions:
- Does Blogger.com require a commenter to use a Blogger.com address?
- Is there something that I’m doing wrong?
- Or is it something beyond my control, such as the way that an individual blog is set up?
I’d appreciate any insight that anyone could share about this very puzzling blogging quirk!
