This is what happened this afternoon:
Pushed the power button on my laptop for a little email checking during Cade's nap. Nothing happened. Thought maybe I didn't hold the power button down long enough; tried again. Nothing happened. Called Chance. As two top-notch computer experts, we determined that the lightbulb in the screen must have gone out, which should be easily fixed. Called Geek Squad. Heard about some very large amounts of money and loooong amounts of time required to diagnose and possibly fix my precious computer. Panic set in. Started thinking about all of the documents, photos, and videos that I meant to load onto the external hard drive but never found the time. Started feeling very sad. And panicky again. Took some time to hang out with Chance and Cade. Tried computer again. Nothing happened. Ate a cookie. Started this blog on Chance's computer.
So, there you have it! There will be a severe lack of blog posting for the next few weeks since all of our photos are inaccessible. If you are desparate to see a picture of Cade and live in Bryan/College Station, you can look at them on my phone! And please please think happy thoughts about my computer!
