We spent our Valentine's Day last week watching the Hornets play basketball! I know all of you are jealous :) Really, it was pretty fun and I'm glad we got to be together that night.
A surprise appearance at the game from one of Cade's greatest loves - the Big Hornet!
Hope everyone's day was "lovely"!

We're baaaack! (mostly)
Now that I've officially borrowed (I mean completely taken over) Chance's computer, I can get back into blogging! We haven't done a lot of picture-worthy activities yet this year, but here are a few highlights:
A few weekends ago we took Holly to Nana and Papa's house so we could all go to New Braunfels while Chance attended a coaching conference. While we were at Nana and Papa's, they got out a wood building set that Cade got for Christmas. They built a bank and it looked really good!
While Chace was at his conference, my parents and I took Cade to the San Antonio Children's Museum. Here we are after a trip to the grocery store. Cade was cooking food for Oma and Opa.
At home, Cade has discovered a very deep love for the cat. He greets Sarge as soon as we get home everyday and usually picks him up and carries him for awhile. Thankfully, Sarge is an extremely patient cat and is very understanding about this sudden closeness.
Last Friday, I had the wonderful opportunity to teach yoga at Cade's school. They learned about animals the past few weeks, so we did "animal yoga". I tried to include as many animal postures as possible, and animal noises were welcomed! It was quite an experience - very different than my college students! - and I was so thankful to be part of Cade's school day. The kids listened pretty well and were amazingly flexible! Some favorite postures were cat and cow (meow and moo), monkey, lion, and spinal balance (which turned into donkey kicks - seen below!)
We also did Cade's favorite pose - tree - quite a few times. I love my little yogi!
