Onsite Massage

This type of massage benefits both the employer and the employee.  Check out the website to see how it can benefit you. www.marianchild.co.uk

Onsite massage or seated acupressure is based on a traditional Japanese form of acupressure called Anma.

Unlike the other massages, this is performed through clothes and on a specialised chair which has been designed to support the back and neck, whilst the massage is performed on the back, shoulders, neck, head, arms and hands. The special seat enables the therapist to work deeply using pressure techniques. By working on tsubos or acupoints, blocked energy is released.

If this concept does not sit well with you, it may be easier to think of it as working into a muscle, or the nerves which run between muscles and joint which then relax as the pressure is withdrawn.

Due to the fact clothes are worn and no oils are used, seated acupressure can be done almost anywhere. It is especially beneficial in the office or workplace where clients can receive a session with minimal disruption to their work, where we sit at a PC, drive or even read a book we tend to hunch forward resulting in aching in the upper back across the shoulders and neck.

Another benefit of this type of massage is that it draws the crowds, so it is especially useful at seminars, business events, pamper evenings etc. The session times can be tailored to the needs of the client or contractor. Sessions can be from 15 – 30 minutes.

  1. Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.

  2. I wonder how you got so good. HaHa! This is really a fascinating blog, lots of stuff that I can get into. One thing I just want to say is that your design is so perfect! You certainly know how to get a girls attention! Im glad that youre here. I feel like Ive learned something new by being here.

  3. I in no way assumed the fact that sometimes straightforward matters like this can also become helpful.
