So you’re counting down the days to Christmas( or whatever other holiday you observe).Counting down the days to family, friends, a break from the monotony of your J.O.B., a chance to travel, the tryst you’ve spent sleepless nights dreaming about, gift giving/receiving, and so on and so forth. For some, for many I hope, It’s a chance to reflect on the year gone by, counting your blessings..giving back. For to whom much is given, much is expected. If you’ve had a tough year, as I have..It’s easier said than done that “Keep your head up, it’s gonna been better”..I don’t know what works for you when you’re down in the dumps, for me- it’s expanding my vision beyond myself, someone else will always need a helping hand.
So anyway, you’re sitting around moping, wearing this loong face- you’ve got time, and you’ve made so much money this year- kissing up to your jerk of a boss finally paid off, and your bonus is burning a hole in your pocket..Where the hell do you spend all that cash? Yeah I know, you could respond to your Uncle Joe in Nakuru’s text message- URGENT! There’s a ‘ka-plot’ of land I’ve been eyeing and my BP and ‘sugar’ have gone up 50X, send $$$ asap, God will bless u mightily and add you more..or, you could just send him a prayer and a Christmas card that sings & lights up.. tsk!tsk! those pesky relatives!
