The purpose with this image was to make a portrait, that will please the subject. When you start with some this gorgeous you would have a hard time not to do a good job.

Multiple light was used, they were placed to the right and left of the frame and on the back wall.The light was place this way to give even lighting and keep the background light.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted.

This image shows one of my favorite poses that I and many other photographers use time and time again.

One light was used, it was placed to the right of the frame and above the model. The light was place this way to create highlights and allow the rest of the model’s body to disappear into darkness.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was rendered to monochrome via a Lightroom preset and then cropped.

Nude Looking Away From the Light

This is the same shoot as the picture from yesterday, another image from the same experiment experiment using a smoke machine. It helps create an atmosphere of mystery and drama.

Two lights was used, one was placed to the right of the frame and to the model’s side. The second light was placed to the left of the frame and very slightly in front of the model. This setup was used to help create strong shadows and highlights.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. Exposure and brightness were adjusted well as a moderate amount of retouching. The image was cropped and converted to monochrome via a Lightroom preset.

This is an other experiment using a smoke machine. It helps create an atmosphere of mystery and drama.

Two lights was used, one was placed to the right of the frame and to the model’s side. The second light was placed to the left of the frame and very slightly in front of the model. This setup was used to help create strong shadows and highlights.

This is a great form. Photographers use it over and over again as do I.

Nude With a Parachute

The concept here was ti be analogous to a flower. The model is surrounded with the pedals, which mimic daylilies.

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame. The light was placed so the model would trunk would be illuminated along with the upper part of the parachute.

The concept for this image was to let the model play with her shadow with no directions from me.

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame. The light was placed so the model would cast a very strong shadow while illuminating her trunk.

Out on the Prairie

This image was inspired by the vastness and emptiness of the prairie. A cloudy sky helped to give the feeling of the vastness.

This image shot on a high speed negative film, that was processed to a positive image. It was scanned into Lightroom where it was cropped and toned antique via a Lightroom preset.
