Cascading Hair

I wanted the model’s hair to be very noticeable but not the only eye catching element of the image. I also added a little grain just to add texture.

One light was used, it was placed to the right of the frame and slightly in front of the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using Lightroom’s Black & White presets.

Messing Up Her Hair

I wanted to create an assemblage of dark and light areas to create soma drama.

Two lights were used, one was placed on either side of the frame about even with the model.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White via a Lightroom sliders.
