Red Roses

Red Roses

I was walking down a quiet street in Santa Fe just before sunset ans saw the balcony and red roses. It induced a feeling of the end of a lazy day.

This was shot on Kodachrome 64 slide film. It was scanned into Lightroom where it was cropped and contrast was adjusted,

A Red Rose in a Window

This picture was taken by natural light in the town of ST. Elmo, a reoccupied ghost town. In this dreary setting.  in an old window sat some bright red roses. The juxtaposition of the past with the new is eye catching,

This was a digital image processed in Lightroom. The image was cropped as well as having the exposure and saturation tweaked.
