Master Your Career with USC Online

I was a little worried at first about what I would get out of taking classes online, but the lectures and communication exceeded my expectations. The DEN@Viterbi system was effective and easy to use, and the flexibility worked very well for my schedule. One unexpected benefit to having access to both live and recorded lectures was that I was able to watch again at any time. I used this to study for exams and found it very helpful to hear the information again. I would definitely recommend this program to other working professionals.

Being in the Air Force, I travel a lot and operate often in different time zones. The instructors in this program were very understanding and accommodating to my schedule. Through this program, I am able to apply what I learned to help better my interaction with people of different cultures to accomplish defense and national goals. I would recommend this program to any military member who has a passion in preventative medicine and the motivation to succeed in this challenging program.

Every class I took as a DEN@Viterbi student gave me experiences that I've been able to immediately apply on the job. The professors’ industry and educational experiences enable them to put lessons into digestible terms for working professionals in which they were very thorough, accommodating, and understanding. We were empowered to work together and be aggressive in our learning, but also enabled to balance our ongoing education with our still-developing, full-time careers. The price - time, effort, and money - is worth it in every respect as I try to become a leader worthy of USC.

The professors and my classmates pushed me to think more strategically and encouraged me to look internally at the employee and teammate I wanted to be. Each week I learned something that I could apply that advanced the practice of HR at my organization — a new process, program, or philosophy that added value right away

Before I started USC’s MSPM program, I was unsure about the connection I would have from learning in a virtual classroom. What emerged was countless hours of project management related discussions that I shared with faculty and peers. I highly commend USC for establishing a platform that cultivates learning and such a tight-knit community.
