I think most of these use cases you have mentioned are already covered by plugins like Fluent CRM, Fluent Forms, and Fluent SMTP. They handle subscriptions, list management, bulk emails, and SMTP reliably.

If you’re building something new, the real challenge will be differentiation (e.g., better UX, lighter footprint, or a very specific niche use case), because the core functionality is already mature in the WordPress ecosystem.

Currently, I’m not using FSE for client sites. My stack relies on Blocksy + Elementor because it’s faster to build, easier to control, and safer for client as well. In some cases, I also use Divi.

Although FSE is powerful, but I think most developers are still habitual to page builders like Elementor, Divi, or Bricks, which allow faster workflows. That familiarity is one of the main reasons many agencies are slower to switch to FSE.
