Bad Dawg Rescue

Bad Dawg Rescue is an all volunteer foster care rescue, located in Hollister,Ca, dedicated to rehabilitating dogs from shelters by providing
them with; training, veterinary care, food, water, a warm bed and lots of love, until they find their forever homes.

They exist on the generous donations from the public, fundraisers and our caring volunteers and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

About Us:
We have been caring for neglected animals since
1989. We have made this our life’s work, to
rehabilitate neglected, abandon and unwanted animals.

I remember a little white poodle. She was left outside
on a chain with no food or water and no shelter from
the elements. Her coat was so badly matted that she
had to be sedated to be groomed. We cleaned her up,
brought her home and named her Lacey. Within no
time, she blossomed into a sweet little girl. We found
her a loving family of her own.

From then on, we knew our mission was to rehabilitate
as many great dogs as possible, one at a time.

We became Bad Dawg Rescue, because so many great
dogs are misunderstood.
“There are no “problem breeds,” just problem owners”
quote from Cesar Millan’s book Cesar’s Way.
Many breeds are considered “bad dogs.” We believe
dogs should not be judged or discriminated against
because of the “doggy suit” they wear.

Every year over 8 million animals are being
euthanized in our shelters. Statistics show that 75-
80% of pet owners, only keep their pets 2 years or
less.

Our goal is to help educate the public about the
benefits of spaying and neutering. To teach the public
how to develop an everlasting bond with their pets, by
training and making them part of the family.

If you would like to help us continue our mission to
save animals, please donate to help us,
“Save more Great Dawg’s Lives”

Labrador Life Line

Labrador Life Line recognizes the tremendous need to aid those purebred Labrador Retrievers in need of new homes, urgent medical care, or other assistance in order to live a full and productive life. Too often these needs go unaddressed, resulting in the needless suffering and death of America’s most beloved canine companion. Labrador Life Line is determined to alleviate such tragedies through the efforts of its volunteers wherever and whenever possible. These dogs simply deserve no less.

Labrador Life Line will, upon application and approval, disburse appropriate funds to help these dogs in need. LLL hopes to accomplish the following objectives:

To provide assistance to dogs who are
(a) with an individual, family or life partners but for valid reasons, the family/individual/life partners cannot provide the required help for the dog’s condition;
(b) currently or will be placed in rescue situations;
(c) are currently at a shelter with which LLL has a current Memorandum of Understanding in force.

This assistance can take the form of, but is not confined to, medical assistance, supplies, and transport to foster and permanent placement homes. Funds will be disbursed according to a set of eligibility guidelines as implemented by LLL.

Grateful Dogs Rescue (San Francisco)

GDR_logo
Grateful Dogs Rescue, a non-profit organization, was founded in the early 1990s by Michelle Parris, a former San Francisco Animal Care & Control (SF ACC) volunteer. She made it her mission to rescue SF ACC shelter dogs not made available for adoption.

Rather than letting these dogs be euthanized, Grateful Dogs Rescue saves as many as possible by fostering them until a loving home is found.

Many of our volunteers continue to donate their time by working with the animals at SF ACC.
