This is one of my bffs. She and her family have been a wonderful gift to us this year. Thanks for bringing DC to us, Katharine! Lots of peace and love to everyone this cozy holiday season!

Thanks for the fun shoot, guys! I had a great time! Union Station is now one of my favorite photo shoot venues!

Robert and I will be away from our DC home base for about a year. While our road trip out West went perfectly, we had an unfortunate scare upon arrival when R was hit in the eye with a wild bungee cord. The hook and coil smacked him, and after a quick call to my bff MD, we went directly to the ER. The opthamologist on call said R had hyphema and that we’d have to watch him closely. After a week of daily eye appointments, R is mostly in the clear. He met with the doc today and won’t have to return for another month. Mostly eye-focused, we’re just now getting into the swing of things. I’m back to work (working remotely) and blogging again; Robert is also back to work and doing MUCH better. We’re very grateful for everyone’s thoughtful notes and for keeping us in your prayers.
