Every year Hostel Cricket Club (HCC) used to conduct floodlights cricket match, since this is goin to be last year in my coll life, wished to play in tat.. Formed a team named ‘Mudinja Thothupaaru” consisting of nine funny guys(me, seeni,dinesh, balaji,ganesh,ayyapan,ragavan,venkat,sundar). Our first aim to put mokkai to our opponent, but changed our strategy and played usually. The costumes is the pin point in our game, all came in our coll uniform wearing tags without id cards(Keta allumbal)
First game (last saturday)was with first years, no problem we were made to win easily which made us to move to next round . Next morning we were first to play in morning against second years. we batted first got all out for some 30 odd runs.. the opponent finished the match in four overs. we happily went to our dressing room(hostel room :-)) .. Then came a twist in the tournament our opponent got scratched out b’coz they violated one of the rules of the tournament, which again made us to move for next match..
Third match against our set final years, so no chance of doin gol mals.. we know surely we wil loooooossseee, wat to do??? Naangalum evlo match dan thokaradu.. we entered the field and lost the third match also… we chose the right name for our team.. our opponenent were so so lucky, we played against them, bcoz most are new to the cricket.. it was reallly funny for us and to audi
