I promise you won’t have to wonder thru any Jurrasic parks to get your hands on this new outfit from Addams.  It’s available now at Collabor88 and will be thru the month of September.  With a texture changing HUD you can adjust and mix and match your top, pants, belt, bra with a variety of colors and fun camo patterns. Perfect for a little safari / military / dinosaur hunting roleplay or maybe just for loungin cause it’s super cute and casual!

November 12th starts another round of GEN-Neutral, an event focused on the blurred lines of gender identity, offering everything from fashion to poses to decor items.  I’m giving you a sneak peek at a new pose prop called “Perception” from oOo Studio that will be available next week.  Sometimes what you see in the mirror looking back at you is more than just what is on the outside.  The wall mirror prop comes with 5 poses (with tall options) and their mirrored reflective poses on the other side.  I hope you enjoy playing with this as much as I did!

{ What makes a happy home }

I’ve been making a new home in SL the last couple weeks… in between trying to get work done on other things.  Before this I would log in on a platform in the sky somewhere surrounded by pose stands and random objects.  I bet many of you know this scenario well.  Those that do photography or blog, or even build… logging into a platform is pretty common. I would set a scene on this corner or that, take a photo, tear it down… it was always just temporary.  It’s been almost a year since I’ve had anything that resembled a real home in SL that actually stuck around, a place where I could invite people and say “this is my place” and not be embarrassed by the barren wasteland that I paid tier on every month.  So it was time to lay down roots and move in.  The fall always inspires me to decorate, in both RL and SL… as even my RL home is full of the warmth of fall colors.  I love the earthy browns and natural textures and fabrics, distressed pieces, and knotty wood floors.. and lots of windows dappled with sunlight.

On a cool crisp day with the leaves rustling just outside, there is still a cozy home full of warmth, where lazy puppies snooze and curious kitties play. Oh!  And there is always a steamy cup of coffee waiting for me…
