Be gentle with a heart, it is fragile and easily broken, but it can also love unconditionally without words. It is up to us to show love in our actions and words.

My heart is breaking, I am seeing someone I love go through such a difficult time. It has affected me in ways I never thought it could. So much so I have needed to take some time away. I am usually a strong person, I want the best for everyone and take care of people. It is who I am. When you cannot help and there is no way to help but show you care and there when you are needed its an awful feeling. My heart is not breaking for myself it is breaking for my family as we sit on the sidelines watching cancer attack someone we love. Nothing can prepare you, not even going through it yourself. You try to not let it consume you and try to be positive and smile and try not to show your sorrow and just wanting to hold on and never let go.

We all have difficult times, we all become people that we do not recognize and it reflects negatively on our actions. Sometimes we just need a hand to reach out and comfort us on our dark days, no words needed just to be held and know someone is there to sit in our comfortable silence.

So you have not seen me online I have come and gone here and there. I come to work on new designs but today I felt like doing a blog.

It is Thanksgiving in Canada this weekend. many have wondered why is our holiday earlier than the USA. Well, basically we harvest earlier than the USA due to our colder temperatures up in the great white North. Now I can look forward to snow coming next month maybe? We are still in the high temps but I am seeing a drop coming in the next few weeks.

I am giving thanks to all the wonderful people in my life. I am very fortunate to have a loving family and many people in SL I like to call friends. We tend to forget the little things that happen, the things we do for people and they do for us. Take time and show your appreciation to those around you that have helped or done something to brighten your day. This means so much in these times as the world seems so dark with negativity lately.

I love my Teegle Horses, we have 2 full grown and one colt on our land and they are fun to watch. I have a hammock right near them so I can sit and watch while I’m doing work. As I was doing this photo the only thing that came in my mind was Kokomo by Beach Boys.

The Beach Boys started in 1961 a good 10 years before I was thought of. Did you know Charles Manson was actually considered to become part of the group before his days of cult killing sprees? Due to only one band member actually liking him he was declined as part of the group. Who would have thought huh?!

Many of their recordings are noted in films, if you recall Kokomo was on the Cocktail Soundtrack that featured Tom Cruise and Elisabeth Shue. That was a great movie and had an amazing soundtrack as well. I loved Tom Cruise back in his early days.
