The church looks more like the world every day. it shameful that the church’s most prevailing value is preventing from offending anybody?

Our youth live in a cell phone -culture. Cell phones provide our young people with their communication, their social life, their entertainment, their education, their relationships, they are tuned out of the light shed by the church.

The church is more in line with membersgolf score and their bridge club and growing their business and investing their business profits in their stock portfolio so they can retire and play more golf

Have you hung out in church lately? Done any people watching? Listened to some conversations? Grabbed some coffee with some friends? You’re going to get an earful of the world speak. You may even be privy to some swear words. Oh you’ll get an earful of gossip and rumors and who’s having an affair and all about the Murphy’s new Lexus (sounds just like the world, doesn’t it?) This isn’t an isolated incident. This kind of behavior is commonplace in today’s church.

Some church folks are striving to accumulate as much as they possibly can. Success to them is as much wealth as they can get in life. Some folks are happy as long as they get more stuff than their neighbor next door.

Some folks have kids that excel at baseball or tennis or football. Then they become the center of conversation at the dinner party.

How much longer does the church have to keep behaving like the world before the church plants a big stake in the ground and says ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Will it ever. You know we have the same power in us that Jesus used to raise himself from the dead.

Power is not the answer. Power will not restore the Church to its prominence as the church that looks nothing like the world ever again.

Only the will can do that. It will take your will and my will together with Jesus.

Are you willing to take a stand against the world and Satan to take our church back.?
