How dreary to be somebody! How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bLog!
~ Emily Dickinson
Oh, well, thanks for reading anyway.
In the blog-world, I indulge in writing for myself , not for clients or causes.
And I use Liana, my whanau name in Aotearoa (New Zealand) where
a lot of my wairua still resides after living there a (too) short while.
I have moved back to the states.
All the words and photos here are mine © except where otherwise noted.

Absolutely Love your work! It will encourage me to look at my own garden more closely, carefully, and purposefully. Best, Maggie
Liana, glad you came back to follow me as I had done everything except actually press the follow button on your own blog. Oops and thanks, all remedied and good now. MM 😎
Beautiful photos, captured with grace.. Loving the discovery, a different perspective, colors and details.
Lived in beautiful Aotearoa as well.. Such an amazing and nurturing place. I call it home and miss it dearly..

Liana, I only wanted to tell you how I continue to be touched by artistic trigger finger and I always look forward to seeing ‘the next one’. If haven’t already I want to thank you for following my blog. xo Salem
I’m so happy to read this…thank you, Salem 🙂
good to see…
🙂
Does the world need another blogger? Of course, as much as the world needs another seven billions peoples in the streets! 😉
Anyway, what I know for sure is that I will come back, as soon as the damn debilitating grandfather clock will cease to hypnotize me with its roman numbers of hell.
Thank you. I know I will come back here for a visit to your garden of words. And sorry with my english if there is some distortions; It is only a second language I still practice. Bye!
Your pretty~ 😀
…and apparently a hippy, like me.

Thank you for visiting and following….a real honour. 🙂
This is a really beautiful blog. Thank you for creating it with such love 😀
Hi, Liana. This is my first visit. I’ve been seeing your comments on the Meander’s blog for some time now, but I was particularly intrigued by your response to her “treesinapuddle, so I followed you back and am equally intrigued by your art as well. I see that, apart from a love of photography, we have other deep common interests, especially German (I studied there) and New Zealand (my favorite of the 50 countries I’ve been to, so far). My free time is currently a bit restricted, and it’s been a while since I’ve followed an new blogger, but I’m following you now. I won’t have the time to comment on each new post, but will do so as time allows, and I’m looking forward very much to seeing them. You have a lovely eye, and I’m delighted to make your acquaintance. –Gary
Very detailed photography. Thumbs up! Feel free to check out my blog, too. I think you might like it.
Beautiful photography. You’re very talented 🙂
Hey Liana ❤ glad tidings to you from London Town 😀 It's not often that I read blogs, even of the those people I am interested in, so for me to have stopped! Looked! AND perused your beautiful pictures and words, I felt I had bumped into a kindred spirit, hence this message ❤ Letting myself be silently drawn away by the pull of what I really love has never lead me astray – good old Rumi says -either and I love that I have been drawn to you…someone else who gets it 😀 Keep on keeping on gorgeous and thank you for being here and sharing it all Annie xx
smiling… hello London, it’s so good to know you
Liana, thanks ever so much for your follow on Tide Line Still Life. I hope that my photos continue to delight you! Warmly, Maggie
How do I know what I think until I see what I say? (E.M. Forster) Wonderful! Great Blog!
Liana I am a retired art dealer who has seen a lot of creative things in my day. Your blog is very impressive, one of the best, not only with the words you write and use but the photographs you take as well. I very much look forward to getting to studying and enjoying it more.
PS(The above sounds really pompous. Sorry I didn’t mean it that way.) You’re GREAT!
I came via our mutual friend Laurie and am moved by your words and photos. I too love the EM Forster quote 🙂
Hello Liana! I just found your blog and I love it, congratulations!
Very lovely blog.
Love your prose, poems, choices of others’ work and especially your stunning photography! Can you please divulge your choice of photographic equipment, please?
ps your daughter’s beautiful
Hello!!!! I nominate you for the THE SUNSHINE AWARD… for more information, please visit my blog 🙂
Alright, L, when are you otherwise publishing and where? Your light gradations are good and revealing 🙂
Cyn, I’m a ghostwriter . . . I don’t get to answer that.
Not. kidding.
Got it. Now to write your very own tome, gal. Sooner than later. (Time is a wasting. I know, I’m a whole lot older than I imagined, still not published enough.) Ah, we writers just write and write and are carried on and how delicious to live that way, words lifting and spinning us about.
Very much needed your words . . . these words. I take them prescriptively and prophetically. Thank you.
Welcome.
Hi Liana, I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award. see my site for details. Congrats!
I am honored, EnglishLitGeek, very much so.
