We're a family pet run store and our community looks up to us. Not only are our members of our staff diverse in experience and in knowledge but we also all go to important training seminars so that we can better educate our community and the public on a variety of topics: from food, to animals, to animal husbandry; just to name a few.

We have one member who has had 36 years of experience with all pets from small birds and parrots, to horses, dogs and cats.

Another member who's just gone to college to become a vet tech and has been raised with animals all her life and how to run a small business.

One who's turned a room into our wonderful nursery for the majority of our birds, providing wonderful care, diet, training and holistic living for both parents and young.

And another who has experience and knowledge with some of the more unsavory pets and animals such as tarantulas as well as knowledge with homeopathic remedies.

We are one big family here at The Urban Zoo with a wonderful team from all walks of life.
