To be eligible for fresher's track, all the members of team should be from first year of Degree/ All school students are also eligible for hackathon

Opting for fresher's track is a choice, instead of compulsion so if your team wish to participate in main track you can, we'll roll out forms for this choice during hackathon

Folks participating in fresher's track can start their project before hackathon period

You can use any open source library/module/framework to build your hack

You can build a hack out of any Idea, we will not provide any Idea, There are no restrictions on Ideas

HackMol3.0 is a community - focused 36 Hours Long Virtual Hackathon organized by DSC NIT Jalandhar, designed especially for the needs of the community itself. Whether you are a beginner or expert ,here is a perfect chance to show your skills and witness a competitive yet inclusive developer community around it.

In light of the Covid-19 outbreak, your safety and well being are our primary concern. Hence all the activities Related to HackMol3.0 like workshops,talks will be hosted Virtually.

The Hackathon is purely based on Open Innovation, teams can openly pick up any tracks, themes and problem statement.

All about what a hackathon is, tips for effective teamwork, how to use Discord, basically everything!.

Team Formations and Ideations Start

Lone Wolfs with similar Skillset can come together and form teams, Brainstrom ideas for their project and come up with unique solutions for a problem.

Ideations Phase Ends

Idea Submission in the form of PPT

Ideations Result Declaration

Project ideas will be evaluated and the teams with relevent ideas will move forward in the hackathon.

Prototyping Phase Begins

Start writing code and designing your prototypes. This is the time to bring your ideas to life.

Mentors will be evaluating teams based on their prototypes and the ideas they have presented. Team Leader/Representative should be present throughout the evaluation phase!

What is a Hackathon and who can Participate in HackMol3.0 ?

A Hackathon is an intense event that brings together designers and developers along with industry experts to identify problems and create software solutions, usually within 24-48 hours. If you're a student developer, we'd love to have you at HacMol3.0! Whether that's a undergrad, or graduate, we believe you can get something out of the event.

What if I don't have a team or Idea ?

Don't worry, most people don’t! We’ll have team formation and ideation events geared towards helping you find people to work with. It’s perfectly normal to go around to people, tell them you’re looking for a team, and ask if you can help out. You can also show yourself off at #teamup on our Discord Server.
