“I hate a song that makes you think that you are not any good. I hate a song that makes you think that you are born to lose. Bound to lose. No good to nobody. No good for nothing. Because you are too old too fat or too slim. Too ugly or too this or too that. Songs that run you down or poke fun of you on account of your bad luck or hard traveling. I am out to fight those songs to my very last breath of air and my last drop of blood.” Woody Guthrie

“Stendhal syndrome, Stendhal’s syndrome, hyperkulturemia, or Florence syndrome is a psychosomatic illness that causes rapid heartbeat, dizziness, fainting, confusion and even hallucinations when an individual is exposed to art, usually when the art is particularly beautiful or a large amount of art is in a single place. The term can also be used to describe a similar reaction to a surfeit of choice in other circumstances, e.g. when confronted with immense beauty in the natural world.” Wikipedia.
This is why I like gig posters. Looking through older pics I came across this from last month: Tennis apparently performed with Wild Belle. Natalie Bergman & Elliot Bergman are the two halves of the ball-and-chain crew Wild Belle. Kinda Lily Allen meets SIA meets Santigold meets iamamiwhoami. but not.
I’ve been away camping! About four hours out of Vancouver British Columbia past Whistler and Pemberton I was shown a secret stash of unmarked pictographs. The term petroglyph are rock surface carvings and should not be confused with pictographs, which are images drawn or painted on a rock face.

The top symbol I was told had to do with representing distance in days. I increased the saturation a little so you can see them better.
When It was constructed in 1917 the Sun Tower was the tallest building in the British Empire at 17 storeys (82 meters/ 269 feet ) The top isn’t copper, it’s faux-finished steel. Faux-real.
The Month of “May” most likely has origins with the Roman Goddess of reverence & honor Maiesta, wife of the god Vulcan. Or the goddess Maia, depending on which god you speak to.
