Judging Criteria

  • Creativity & Innovation
Judges will look for originality in your idea and approach. Unique, bold, or unconventional projects that stand out from typical app ideas will score highly. This includes creative problem-solving or an innovative use of technology.
  • Technical Quality
This measures how well your app works from a technical standpoint. Functionality, code quality, performance, and the complexity of your implementation will all be considered. The more polished and stable your app, the better.
  • Impact & Usefulness
Judges will assess how effectively your app addresses a real-world problem or fills a niche in your community. Projects that demonstrate clear purpose, social value, or measurable impact will earn higher scores.
  • Presentation Quality
Your presentation (video or PowerPoint) should clearly demonstrate your app in action and explain its purpose, features, and benefits. A strong presentation helps judges easily understand your project and its impact.
  • Design & User Experience
This focuses on the app’s usability and visual design. Apps that are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing will score higher. Good design enhances accessibility and makes your project more engaging to users.
