The Magical Loft
So.. further to my post earlier, I decided to do a little decorating INSIDE… I took myself up to the attic of my cute and creepy little cottage and did it up, magical style with lots of goodies from The Wizarding Faire!
So up I toddled to the loft of my cottage and I thought what could I put here? What better to put in there but magical stuffs?! A little room of goodness all magical and OoooooOoooooOoo! The main piece of the room is the dorm bed from Cheeky Pea, available in a variety of colours or “houses” this bed comes as single or family and is just simply delicious! I wanted to make an actual dorm but figured i’d not be greedy this time around. On my lovely bed are two of the Schadenfreude books which come with a variety of pictures and stuffs, you can even use them posed, but being the studious Willis I am, I was reading in bed, of course!
Under my cute little window I have the Collage shelf complete with little cauldron, broom and MORE books, and it’s also home to two of my MiaMai pets, which wobble and are the cutest little animals EVAH! And my Auxiliary Satchel hangs off the end all casual and nonchalant, well as nonchalant as a satchel gets. We then have my gooooorgeous shelf complete with yep… more books and my delicate little hat from Olive, which sits next to my Eleventh Hour cube robot fortune machine!!! I tell you, that thing is not kind to me. To make it a little more homely I set out my MEOW scroll and hung it from the wall, yep! THATS ME DONE!
Hair Fair take TWO!
Some more new hairs for you from the delectable Hair Fair 2013! So many styles it’s hard to know what to do when, but I am giving it my best shot 😀
These four beauties above are from Tableau Vivant and are stunning! I love the dipped colours, and the HUD’s and the way they are named… soooo lovely and the styles are just nommy! The cutest braid in the top left really makes me happy, not overly boho but that little added touch that makes it stand out! The other styles are all as lovely but I think that is my fave. So three longer styles with one updo, not too shabby if I do say so myself 😀
Next we have four from MiaMai! I always find their hairs and items to be so different, yet so lovely! Some of these have to be worn with hairbases but they are beautiful and fit together SO well! All of them have a flowery theme going on, which I love, and probably aren’t your day to day hairs, but who wants to be day to day all the time!? Not I! So pretty and ladylike and perfect for that different picture you might want to take! YAY!
We have four of the offerings here from Bliensen + MaiTai, last year they did an epic Teapot pouring hair that I fell in love with, this year seems mostly sensible. These aren’t all that are available, but four of the ones i really liked. There seems to be a bit of a retro, flapperish style going on and that gets my stamp of approval because although I may not wear them often, I love them! Some really nice detailing in these, especially the ones with the headbands and headpieces! YAY!
Finally four of the several items available from Amacci! Another store where sometimes you have to wear hairbases, but again they work and look delicious. I am really loving these four, all updo’s and all really pretty. I really love the textures on Amacci hair, they are so sleek and smooth but without being overly silly and greasey looking! The hair is so well made too, and perfect for photos or just day to day wear, whether casual or dressed smart! HUZZAH!
