    KISSING PLANS is a standalone read with a happy ending. It is quite sexy if that is an issue for you. Susan is of Thai decent. Her mother American and her father a Thai. He recently passed but her mother still lives in Thailand. Susan was educated in the USA and is a university professor, single but engaged to a man she barely knows. Her father arranged the marriage and Susan has delayed it because she wanted her degrees and a job before she married.

    Her intended got tired of waiting on her and he married and now has 3 children. He sold his contract to his younger brother. A very immature young man! Susan doesn't want to marry him but her family stands to lose a lot of money if she doesn't go through with the wedding. This is not a love match.

    Royce, her best friend, is the brother to Dr. Matt of Dating Plans. Royce was something of a wild child but a tragic event caused him to give up his wild ways, finish his education, and get a job. He and Susan have been best friends for years. He understands her culture and he respects her commitment to fulfill her obligation to marry the man her father chose for her. The two families have been friends for years.

    But things don't always go according to plans. This is a fun read with a bit of angst thrown in. Lots of drama and misunderstandings. Each person having secret meetings. The younger brother brings out the need to smack him. Susan's problem takes on a whole new meaning when everyone get involved in trying to help her get out of a situation she never wanted to be in. It is an entertaining read and I definitely recommend it.

    Royce can't wait until his friend Susan returns because she has taken a teaching job at the University. He has been in love with her for almost ten years but they could only be friends because she had been promised to another man.

    Now that he is at the airport to pick her up he finds her there with her Mom and her fiance. Not the one she was originally promised to but his brother. Susan has decided that her fiance Kasaam was going to stay with Royce, her best friend, while they were engaged to each other.

    I really enjoyed reading this book and think that you will too. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand a lone as well. I am loving all these books.

    Betrothed twice by family arrangements. Susie Chen faces her future with dread. Bullies and disdain seem to be her future but maybe there is a bright spot on the horizon. Her best friend from college lives in the same town and offers a little hope for adjusting to her new job and for forcing into her career

    Susan and Royce have known each other and been best friends for years. When she asks him to help her with an unwanted fiance that her family has arranged for her, he can't help but oblige. After all, he has loved her for years.
    Cultural customs, family love and drama, some humorous moments and friendships all made this an enjoyable story. It's the first book I've read by this author and know I will checking out some others now.
