LEBANON, Ohio (WKRC) — Wawa is continuing its expansion across Ohio with the opening of a new location in Lebanon.
The convenience store chain will open its newest location on State Route 63 on Friday, Aug. 28. Doors are scheduled to open at 8 a.m.
The first 100 customers will receive limited-edition grand opening T-shirts while supplies last. Wawa also plans to offer free hot coffee as part of the opening celebration.
The Lebanon location is among nearly 100 stores Wawa plans to open across its footprint in 2026 as the Pennsylvania-based chain continues expanding in the Midwest.
Wawa has significant plans for Ohio. The company expects to open five to eight stores per year in the state over the next five to eight years, with a long-term goal of operating as many as 60 Ohio locations.
The company said it invests more than $7.5 million to build each store, employing an average of 140 contractors and local partners during construction. Each location employs approximately 35 people once open.
