I am getting this error when trying to log in to the admin panel.
Also, after logging into the admin panel with my password, whenever I perform any action, I am logged out of the panel and asked to enter my password again.
What could be causing this issue? Is it related to the session, cookies, or authentication settings?

It would be useful if there was a way to give permission to edit a post with one click to an entire group. Currently, you have to select the members one by one.
I mean the groups that are built into the forum or added by the administrators.
The correct way to implement this in my opinion is a drop-down filter list like the one currently shared by users and groups, and saving a key of groups that are allowed to edit.
I could open a PR if this feature is accepted into the core. If I don't do it as an add-on

Scenario :
I have one web application in next.js in front end and node.js in backend.
It has courses, text, Users, etc.
We use SSO for the same in web application and in NodeBB.
Now our NodeBB (Forum) i need to integrate with my web application.
After searching i come to this point is that we can use endpoint API to create frontend in my web application.
Could you please tell me can we integrate this?
Where i can find the list of all Endpoints API?
Is this better way ? or we can do custom modifications in frontend and try to make similar look of current web application ?

I am trying to add a user to a specific group on the group page, I get an error "This service requires re-authentication" and am redirected to the profile page
Has this been fixed in version 4.14.10?

Just a quick note for NodeBB admins to update to v4.14.4 as there was a regression identified for versions v4.12.0 to v4.14.3 where federation was broken between NodeBB and Mastodon instances with authorized fetch enabled.

Hi NodeBB Team,
I updated my NodeBB instance to v4.14.9 yesterday and immediately noticed a critical issue with user registration: completing the registration process fails with an invalid csrf token / Forbidden error on POST /register/complete.
To ensure it wasn't a server-side configuration issue on my end, I performed the following troubleshooting steps:
Verified config.json has "trust_proxy": true and correct HTTPS URL.
Verified Nginx configuration includes proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto $scheme; and all required WebSocket headers.
Completely disabled spam and CAPTCHA plugins (e.g., nodebb-plugin-spam-be-gone).
Tested across clean browser profiles / Incognito windows.
Crucial detail:
I attempted to register a new account on community.nodebb.org as well, and encountered the exact same "Forbidden" / CSRF failure upon completing registration.
It seems a session/CSRF token validation issue was introduced in this release affecting the registration flow.
Could you please look into this or confirm if a patch is coming?

At my docker log, when searching chat messsage, it will prompt the following deprecated message. But this didn't happen when search post/topics. Please update the hooks.

My plugins were adapted to the changes mentioned there and didn't review again through out 4.14.x. Just want to know up until 4.14.9, any other breaking change so that I need to look into the plugin again?

Hi @baris , I was able to upgrade to 4.14.7, but I'm unable to run ./nodebb build due to the following error:
ERROR in ./node_modules/bootstrap/dist/js/bootstrap.esm.js + 57 modules

I tried removing the node_modules directory and installing npm, but the issue persists. Any idea how to fix it?

Hi, reporting an RTL bug on my forum
When tagging a user for example @julian
If there is no text on the same line, the RTL is used and written from left to right.
If there is text on the same line, then the line is right-aligned as it should be.
Hope I understood.
My forum had a second account with admin rights, as a back up.
Trying to remove admin rights sends me into a constant loop of asking to log in again.
Says this action needs re-authenticating over and over?
The current editors system is uid based, if you save a list of group names, if group names are edited it becomes outdated. Probably why I didn't add it in the first place.

@baris the error on this screen appears every time I enter the admin panel. The other issue I mentioned may be related to the time period you mentioned, so I’ll look into that, but this one always appears whenever I access the admin panel.
With temperatures reaching well into the 30s (in celsius of course 😎) in the Toronto area, we're all firmly in summer mode 🏊 🏖 , but that won't stop us from forging on ahead with new features and fixes for NodeBB!
