Do non-residents pay US tax?

For a properly structured non-resident-owned LLC with no US trade or business, US federal income tax is typically $0. That usually means you do not operate your own US office, you have no US employees, and you keep US physical presence limited. This is not tax advice. Your home country may still tax you, edge cases exist, and a CPA should confirm your situation.

Can I open a US bank account without traveling to the US?

Yes. Most founders open online with Mercury, Relay, or a Wise business account without flying in. We help you prepare the application and walk you through identity verification. You still complete the bank's own checks.

Do you guarantee opening a bank account?

No bank can be guaranteed. We make sure your company paperwork is in order and help you apply with Mercury, Relay, or Wise so the bank gets clean answers. The final yes or no is always the bank's.

Can I get a Stripe account for my US LLC?

Yes. Non-resident founders regularly open US Stripe accounts with a US LLC. We cannot fill the Stripe form for you, but bank and Stripe help is included in every package so you know what to submit and in what order.

Can I open a PayPal account for my US company as a non-resident?

It is possible, but harder than Mercury, Relay, Wise, or Stripe. PayPal often wants an ITIN and stronger US address proof. Many solo founders skip PayPal at first and collect with Stripe plus a US business bank account instead.

What ongoing obligations does my US LLC have?

Every US LLC has yearly upkeep. Depending on the state, that can include an annual report, and foreign-owned single-member LLCs generally file a pro forma Form 1120 with Form 5472. On Managed, your dashboard tracks the deadlines and our staff prepares the supported state annual report and those federal forms for the first applicable cycle. On Starter, you handle ongoing filings yourself. We never promise a government processing time, and any late, variable, or customer-caused fee needs your approval before it is spent.

How do I get money back to my home country?

Once your US business account is funded, transfer to your local bank, a personal Wise account, Payoneer, or another wallet you already use. Timing and fees depend on the provider, not on Formpreneur.

Do I need bookkeeping?

Yes if you want clean year-end filings. Formpreneur does not include bookkeeping in the formation package. Keep simple records yourself or hire a bookkeeper, then share statements with your tax preparer when it is time to file.

What does it cost to close or dissolve the company?

Dissolution fees are set by the state and are not bundled into formation. If you decide to wind down, contact us and we will point you at the right filing path and typical state costs for your package.

Do I need a US co-founder, SSN, or US street address?

No US co-founder and no SSN are required to form the LLC. Your registered agent covers the official US address for service of process. Banks and Stripe will still ask for passport ID and run their own KYC checks, which is normal for non-residents.

What do I get after formation, and can I run everything remotely?

You get formation docs, EIN support, a dashboard with document vault and mailbox, and guidance for Mercury, Relay, Wise, and Stripe. After filing you can manage the company from anywhere; no US trip is required for the Formpreneur workflow.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

Refunds are stage-based. Cancel before we start reviewing or filing your order and you get a full refund. Once work begins, the refund shrinks by the costs already committed, and state and provider fees stop being refundable once they are paid or filed. There is no general money-back or satisfaction guarantee. The stage-by-stage rules and refund timing are in the Refund Policy linked in the footer. To cancel, message us from your dashboard or the contact page with your order number.

How long does the whole process take?

Sharing your details takes about 15 minutes. State filing usually completes within a week, and the EIN takes another two to three weeks because it depends on the IRS. Your dashboard shows each step as it happens, and documents land in your vault as they arrive. These are typical times, not promised dates; state and IRS queues move at their own pace.

How do I contact support?

Once you have an account, open Support in your dashboard and create a ticket; it keeps the whole conversation attached to your company and order. Before that, use the contact page and we will reply by email. Every message is read and answered by a person.
