Pricing

Whether you’re just getting started or already at scale, Radar is the most cost-effective way to build with location.

How pricing works

Frequently asked questions

Does Radar have a free tier?
Arrow icon

Radar does not currently offer a free tier. Every plan starts with a quote based on your expected usage, and teams can start with a technical validation period to see the value firsthand.

How are Radar’s agreements structured?
Arrow icon

All Radar agreements are structured annually, with a committed quota allotted to you on a monthly basis.

How is an API call counted?
Arrow icon

Most Radar endpoints bill per request, and Matrix bills per element (origins × destinations), consistent with how the rest of the industry prices matrix and routing calls. Every Core Maps endpoint shares one flat rate, and every Premium Maps endpoint shares another, so you're pricing against two numbers, not a different rule for every call you make. Full billing details by endpoint are in our documentation.

Do volume discounts apply automatically?
Arrow icon

No, discounts aren’t automatic. Radar’s per-unit rate can step down significantly as volume grows, but rates are set by our team based on your actual usage. Contact sales for a tailored rate.

What is a Monthly Tracked User (MTU)?
Arrow icon

An MTU is one unique user your app verifies at least once within a calendar month. Whether you check that user's location once or multiple times in that month, it counts as a single MTU, so checking more often never increases your bill.

What’s the difference between Reveal and Protect?
Arrow icon

Reveal scores every web and mobile session for fraud risk using device and network signals, without requiring location permission. Protect verifies a user’s precise, real-world location to stop spoofing and confirm compliance. Learn more about Reveal and Protect.
