Kicking off day 2 of #CNA2026! Looking forward to a full day. Later: Steven Murphy joins Todd Smith for a fireside chat on building the nuclear workforce for a new era. Great to see Ontario Tech alumni across panels. #PowerAndPurpose

Day 1 of #CNA2026 is underway. Looking forward to a few days of collaboration across Canada’s nuclear sector. Tradeshow opens at 3, visit Ontario Tech Engineering at booth #325 to see how we’re building the nuclear workforce through hands-on learning and industry partnerships
A conference booth for Ontario Tech University set up against a neutral wall. On the left, a vertical banner reads “Canada’s Nuclear Training Ground: Entry to Expert” and highlights training for the next generation of nuclear workers, with an image of people interacting with a large touchscreen display. In the center, a wide backdrop displays four stages—Entry, Experience, Elevate, and Expert—each paired with photos of students or professionals engaged in hands-on learning and technical work. On the right, a table covered with an Ontario Tech University tablecloth holds two monitors and neatly arranged promotional materials. The floor is carpeted, and the booth appears ready for attendees but is currently unoccupied.

We are proud to be responding to the urgent demand for skilled professionals in Canada’s growing rail sector. With input from partners like Alstom and AtkinsRéalis, we have designed a new Railway Engineering Specialization. Registration opens this June!
