    I’m trying to understand how it is that I continue to find mistakes with what SOTA models produce, and others believe that the generated code is better than what they could ever produce. - technical ability? - trivial vs non trivial projects? - learned experience? - intuition

    Some of the biggest challenges I can foresee with this. - extremely difficult to check for correctness - ensuring compliance - increased risk of injected malware - increased risk of binary variance (esp considering cross platform support) - iteration becomes incredibly

    This is exactly right. Source code is on the verge of becoming like assembly. The next step is getting rid of “source code” entirely and just making an efficient binary directly with AI.
