Terms of Service

By accessing or using ProvenTools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

ProvenTools provides access to curated databases of business ideas, tool concepts, build prompts, and educational guides. We offer:

• ProvenTools Library ($99, one-time): permanent access to the curated idea library, its build prompts, every future monthly idea drop, the additional idea databases, and the stored ProvenScore and evidence snapshot published with each idea.
• ProvenTools Live ($9/month): an optional recurring add-on that requires Library ownership. Each successfully paid or explicitly granted Live month includes 100 credits, which expire at the end of that month and do not roll over.
• ProvenTools + Backlink Rocket ($299, one-time): permanent Library access, the separately defined Backlink Rocket fulfilment, and 3 granted Live months. It does not grant permanent Live access.

Some ProvenTools Live actions consume credits. Ordinary stored reads through the web app or any documented agent interface, including REST and our published read-only MCP and CLI clients, cost zero credits, as do normal assistant search, recommendation, comparison and explanation responses.

• An evidence refresh costs 3 credits; Validate My Idea costs 10 credits.
• Included credits arrive with each paid or granted Live month, are spent before purchased credits, and expire at the end of that month.
• Purchased credit packs are 100 credits for $9 or 500 credits for $29. They expire 12 months after purchase and require Library ownership plus an active Live entitlement to buy or spend. If Live lapses, unexpired purchased credits remain recorded but cannot be spent, and their expiry continues.
• A job that fails and produces no usable result returns its reserved credits. Credit-bearing requests are quote-first: you see the exact cost and your projected balance and approve it before anything is reserved.
• Zero-credit reads remain subject to technical rate limits and abuse controls. These are operational safeguards, not a separate allowance.

To access our service, you must:

• Create an account with a valid email address
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

• ProvenTools Library, the Backlink Rocket bundle and credit packs are one-time payments
• ProvenTools Live renews monthly until canceled
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You can cancel ProvenTools Live from the billing dashboard and keep it through the paid period; cancelling Live never removes Library access
• One-time purchases are final due to the digital nature of the product
• If you experience technical issues, contact us for support

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Redistribute, resell, or publicly share our content
• Use automated tools to scrape or download content outside the provided CSV export and our documented REST, MCP and CLI interfaces
• Attempt to circumvent our access controls
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

The ProvenTools database, guides, and design elements are owned by us. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to:

• Build and profit: You can use any idea to build a product, SaaS, app, or business and keep 100% of the revenue
• Personal use: Access the content for your own business research and development
• No exclusivity: Ideas are not exclusive - other users may build similar products

You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share the database content itself.

ProvenTools is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any business idea will be successful or profitable. The ideas and information provided are for educational and inspirational purposes only.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to access the service will immediately cease.

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
