- In addition to fish-like movement, Jin Qi is also helping design a soft robotic actuator for gripping objects. This project highlights the potential of soft robotics in safe, adaptive interactions - especially where traditional rigid robots fall short. (Jin Qi 3/3)
- Jin Qi is working with PhD student Zhuonan Wang on a cable-driven soft body robot inspired by fish movement. The goal is to better understand how soft materials can be actuated to create fluid, biomimetic motion in underwater environments. (Jin Qi 2/3)
