I am creating a scene with plastic toy cars in a stylized look. For cartoon black outlines, I am using solidify modifier with a black material offset.

This outline works for everything but the transparent plastic, when I add the modifier, the object loses the "back side" of the transparency. I can see the car in the plastic wrapper, but I don't see what's on the other side.

desired transparency on the left, desired outline on the right

I want the plastic wrapper to have the same black outline, but however I tweak the transparency settings, I am always getting an undesired result.

Can anyone please help me how to reach this effect?

Second picture shows my settings of the outline material.

The problem is unavoidable, because this is how the "Solidify" Lineart works.

Only workaround is to composite two different renders: one disabling the Solidify modifier (and losing the black outline), multiplied by the second, in which all others materials (including transparent plastic) are white emission with 1.0 strenght (for this second render use "Standard" View transform, look None, in Color Management, for pure white results).
