📌 Overview
The AI Government Scheme Accessibility Platform is a full-stack web application designed to help citizens easily discover government schemes they are eligible for. Many individuals miss out on government benefits due to lack of awareness, complex eligibility criteria, and language barriers. This platform addresses these challenges by using an AI-based eligibility engine to provide personalized scheme recommendations.
💡 Inspiration
Despite the availability of numerous government welfare programs, access remains limited due to fragmented information and complex application processes. We were inspired to build a digital assistant that simplifies this process and promotes digital inclusion, particularly for underserved communities such as farmers, students, and small entrepreneurs.

We developed a full-stack solution using:

Node.js with Express REST API for eligibility checking AI rule-based scoring engine

Each factor contributes to a weighted score, and the system returns the Top 5 most relevant schemes along with:
