Inspiration

Fashion builds confidence and soothes our minds, but spending hours shopping only to walk home empty-handed does the opposite. Everyone deserves a personal stylist that actually understands them.

What it does

StyleAI analyzes your photo to identify your body type, skin tone, and best colors. It then generates personalized outfit recommendations with Pinterest inspiration and shoppable products filtered by your budget.

How we built it

React Native + Expo app with Anthropic's Claude for vision-based style analysis for product recommendations. User history is saved with Supabase.

Challenges we ran into

This is our first hackathon. We hit TypeScript errors, image data pipeline issues, git branch conflicts, and a lot of debugging we'd never done before. We learned to be resourceful fast.

Accomplishments that we're proud

We have a fully working AI app built in one day, inclusive for all skin tones, body types, and gender expressions, completely free to use!! That's a crazy accomplishment for first-timers!

What we learned

How to integrate vision AI APIs, structure LLM responses, manage React Native navigation, and stay calm when everything breaks at once.

What's next for StyleAI

Real-time product pricing, a saved wardrobe feature, social sharing, and autonomous shopping agents.
