About OpenAIrinterface

Founded by EURECOM in 2014, OpenAirInterface (OAI) is a French non-profit organization (“Fonds de Dotation”) supported by corporate sponsors. It develops and maintains the OpenAirInterface open-source platform, which provides 4G and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) and Core Network (CN) software for both research and industrial use.

OAI brings together a global community of developers who collaborate to advance open-source wireless network technologies. The organization is governed by a board composed of representatives from its Strategic Members.

The Alliance is responsible for:
– Defining and managing the software development roadmap
– Overseeing quality assurance
– Promoting OAI software across a wide range of academic and industrial use cases

Its mission is to accelerate the adoption of OpenAirInterface as a reference platform for next-generation wireless innovation.
