Open Quantum Design (OQD) is a Canadian-led global initiative developing full-stack, open-source quantum computing systems through a collaborative, community-driven model. OQD aims to advance accessible, high-impact quantum technologies while building the talent and infrastructure needed for long-term innovation and societal benefit.
OQD is unique in that the full stack, from bare metal to the end user is being advanced by industry and academic leaders collaborating on hardware designs, control infrastructure, software, and APIs.
